Flagship Project
Helping people understand where their money goes through intelligent financial insights.
KudiFlow started from a simple question I asked myself: "What if there was an app that could help people understand where their money goes?" Many people receive their salary and spend money throughout the month without knowing exactly how or where it was spent. I wanted to build something that could help people track their income and expenses in a simple and meaningful way.
As I continued working on the project, KudiFlow grew from a basic expense tracker into a Progressive Web App (PWA) that includes AI-powered spending insights. Users can install it on their phones just like a mobile app while still using it through the web.
In the future, I plan to make KudiFlow even smarter by allowing it to automatically read bank transaction alerts from SMS messages and emails. The app will organize those transactions, analyze spending patterns, and use AI to provide helpful insights without requiring users to enter every expense manually.
Building KudiFlow has strengthened my skills in product design, frontend development, AI integration, and creating solutions for real-world problems.
Flagship Project
Making tax estimation simpler and more accessible.
The idea for TaxPilot came from my Industrial Training at the Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS).
During my training, I learned how annual income is used to calculate personal income tax. I noticed that many people do not understand how these calculations work, so I decided to build a simple tool that helps users estimate their taxes based on their annual income.
TaxPilot is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that allows users to install it on their phones and quickly estimate their tax. Although it follows the general Nigerian tax rules, it is meant for learning and estimation and should not replace professional tax advice.
This project helped me understand how technology can simplify complex processes and make useful information easier for people to access.
NextGen Academy Project
A simple project that strengthened my frontend development skills through practical implementation.
Body IQ was developed as part of my project submission during the NextGen Academy Generative AI & AI Automation Program.
Although the program focuses on Artificial Intelligence and automation, I wanted to strengthen my frontend development skills by building a complete web application.
Instead of following a tutorial, I chose to build a practical tool that accepts user input, performs calculations, checks for valid information, and instantly displays results.
While building the project, I combined my knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Claude AI to help me write, improve, and review parts of the code. This gave me more confidence in using AI as a tool while continuing to learn the fundamentals of software development.
Even though it is a simple project, it represents an important step in my learning journey and reminds me that strong software engineering skills are the foundation for building more advanced AI applications.
AI Automation Project
Turning a YouTube link into a ready-to-read summary in your inbox, automatically.
As part of my Generative AI and AI Automation training at NextGen Academy, I designed and implemented an end-to-end automation workflow using Make.com. The goal: automate the process of summarizing YouTube videos and delivering concise summaries directly to users via email.
The workflow begins when a YouTube video URL is added to Google Sheets. Make.com retrieves the video's transcript through the Supadata API, sends the transcript to Claude AI for summarization, stores the generated summary, and automatically emails the results to the intended recipient. This project provided hands-on experience integrating cloud services, AI models, and APIs into a fully automated workflow capable of solving a real-world task.
Learning & Professional Growth
Software engineering is a field of continuous learning. Beyond building applications, I actively invest in expanding my knowledge of software engineering, artificial intelligence, automation, system design, and emerging technologies. Every project I build represents another step in my growth as an engineer — from learning programming fundamentals to designing modern web applications, exploring artificial intelligence, and building intelligent automation systems.

Ongoing
Continuous learning is essential in a rapidly evolving industry.
I'm currently participating in the Generative AI & AI Automation Program at NextGen Academy, gaining practical experience in Artificial Intelligence, workflow automation, prompt engineering, and responsible AI development through hands-on projects and real-world scenarios.
Prompt Engineering & AI Solution Design
Prompt engineering has become an important part of my software development workflow. As I continue learning Generative AI and AI Automation at NextGen Academy, I design structured prompts that help AI generate clear, practical, and implementation-ready solutions.
Rather than writing simple instructions, I develop prompts that define the AI's role, objectives, context, constraints, and expected output. This structured approach produces more accurate, consistent, and useful results across software engineering, learning, business planning, automation, and creative tasks.
Building these prompts has also strengthened my ability to think systematically, break complex problems into smaller parts, and design solutions that are both practical and reusable.
Featured Prompt
One of my most detailed prompts is built to help design a complete, ready-to-build plan for a modern web application — the kind of planning a whole engineering team would normally do together.
It gets the AI to think from four different angles at once — like a software architect, a full-stack engineer, a database designer, and a product consultant — so the plan it produces actually holds together as a real, workable system, not just a list of ideas.
The prompt covers:
It shows how I can take a messy, real-world problem and turn it into clear instructions that actually produce something usable at the end.
Prompt Library
Helps plan out a software system properly — how it's structured, how the database and backend fit together, and how it can grow without falling apart.
Turns "I want to learn X" into an actual step-by-step plan — what to study first, what to build along the way, and how to tell you're making progress.
Helps organize a busy day or week — what to prioritize, how to stay focused, and how to keep track of what's actually getting done.
Helps figure out where the gaps are in your skills or experience, and what to do about them if you want to grow in your career.
Helps stress-test a business idea before you commit to it — is there a real market for it, who else is already doing it, and does the math actually work.
Helps turn a rough idea into an actual story — the characters, the plot, and a strong opening that pulls a reader in.
My Prompt Design Process
Whenever I create a prompt, I follow a structured approach to produce reliable and consistent results.
This process allows me to create prompts that can be reused across different projects while producing high-quality results.
Why Prompt Engineering Matters
Artificial Intelligence is becoming an important part of modern software development. Knowing how to communicate effectively with AI is now a valuable engineering skill.
For me, prompt engineering is not simply about asking AI questions. It is about designing clear instructions that improve productivity, support better decision-making, speed up development, and help solve real-world problems. Combined with my software engineering knowledge, it enables me to build smarter applications, automate workflows, and deliver practical digital solutions more efficiently.
